Sam Bommarito
This is Fran's Cousin Sam. When we were little, Fran lived right next door. We used to play together in the yard. She lived upstairs at Grandma Bommarito's house, and many a night, the whole family would gather and talk. That, BTW, is when I learned how to debate, because very often the talks turned into great debates. Mostly, the kids got to sit back and listen. I especially remember the time when Grandma and the family came back from a visit to Mexico. This was in the 1950s. Us kids got great souvenirs, including handmade Maracas. My brother Nick still has those on display at his house. Fran's father, Uncle Jerry, used to enjoy doing paint-by-numbers, and we kids would go upstairs to watch him paint. I have many great memories from those times.
