Hanny was more than a cousin to me—he was my first big brother. We grew up with our backyards facing each other, and I spent countless days at their house, learning and laughing. He gave me my first job and trusted me at a young age to care for his newborn son, AJ, a responsibility I will always cherish. One memory that still makes me smile is when my car broke down in 1991 near Potomac Mills. I called my father for help, and he showed up with another friend and Hanny, because Hanny was known for being able to fix just about anything. Even though the car couldn’t be fixed and we ended up needing a tow truck, the real comedy came when we realized we had seven people trying to squeeze into a two-door car. We laughed about that for years. Hanny always had advice and I always listened. His love, wisdom, and presence will live on in my heart forever. Remembering you Always, Tracey
