Beverly Bellamy's Obituary
Mrs. Beverly Bellamy, born to the late Ollie & Ida Gamble in Marvell Arkansas where she spent her childhood and accepted Christ at an early age. After graduating from Tate High School, she moved to Youngstown, Ohio to start her next chapter in Lie where she became a certified medical assistant.
Beverly was a quiet and humble person who cherished most of her adult life assisting and helping others. She enjoyed watching basketball games, reading her bible, spending time with family, siblings and raising grandkids. She was always helping until she had a stroke in the early 90’s which left her with a slight health change. Even after her health challenges she was still continuing to help when she can. She never gave up and still had a purpose in life. One strong woman who continued to challenge herself until her later days.
Beverly passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2026, where she was accompanied by her daughters. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, three children: Bernadette B. Young of Midlothian, Tx; Anthony Bellamy of Indianapolis, In and Georgette Bellamy of Garland Tx; One sister, Velma Patrick of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, George and Isiah Gamble of St. Louis, Mo; nine grandkids, eleven great grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews.
Beverly Bellamy is preceded in death by her husband, George Bellamy of 45 years, daughter, Donna Bellamy- McCarley of Indianapolis, In; brothers L.C Gamble of Marvell Ar, Elihue Gamble of Clevland Oh, Irvin Gamble of Marvell Ar, Oscar Gamble of Omaha Ne, Herman Gamble of Indianapolis In. Three Sisters: Mattie Thomas Green of Youngstown Oh, Zera Jones of Youngstown Oh and Jeanette Spann of Garland Tx.
