He enjoyed all sports; he was an All-Star basketball, football and baseball player. He also excelled academically and earned a scholarship to Arizona State University. Instead of attending college he chose to serve his country. Â
In 1974, upon high school graduation he joined the United States Army and served his country for over 21 years. During his time in the military he traveled the world, served in the Gulf War and carried out humanitarian efforts in Central America. Upon retirement from the military he continued his career in Logistics. He worked as a Materials Manager for Minco Technologies, Lear Corporation and most recently Hilite International Inc.
Reggie touched the lives of many people in his lifetime with his kindness, wisdom and generosity. He had a heart of gold. One of his greatest characteristics was his sense of humor, which he maintained until the very end.  In his spare time Reggie enjoying spending time with family, barbequing, and fishing. He valued family more than anything. He was a selfless husband, a caring son, a loving father and grandfather. Although a California native, he took on the true Texas tradition of barbequing and became a master of the craft. He had a passion for barbequing and perfected it over the years. He found tranquility in fishing. It was HIS time to gather his thoughts, enjoy the moments and find his inner peace. The time he valued most was the time spent on his front porch. This is where he was able to solve the largest of world issues down to the most minute of problems. Everyone knew exactly where to find him every evening after work. His love of football was a huge part of every fall season. He was a lifelong Oakland Raider fan who believed his team was Super Bowl bound each year. When it came to basketball no one could touch the LA Lakers, win or lose Reggie was a dedicated fan.
